1. Cancellation Due to Force Majeure
In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Santiago Exchange —such as natural disasters, pandemics, social unrest, extreme weather conditions, or other force majeure events— the company reserves the right to cancel the scheduled activity.

In such cases, participants may choose between:

  • A full refund of the amount paid, or
  • Rescheduling the activity at no additional cost.

2. Cancellation Due to Minimum Participants Not Being Met
Some activities require a minimum number of participants. If this minimum is not reached, Santiago Exchange reserves the right to cancel the activity up to 7 days prior to the scheduled date.

Participants will be notified accordingly and may choose between:

  • A full refund, or
  • Participation in an alternative activity, subject to availability.

3. Cancellation for Operational Reasons
Santiago Exchange reserves the right to cancel an activity due to operational reasons, including but not limited to logistical issues, technical problems, or internal circumstances that prevent proper execution.

In such cases, participants will be notified at least 14 days in advance, and the following options will be offered:

  • A full refund, or
  • Rescheduling or an alternative activity, when available.

4. Participant Notification
Santiago Exchange is committed to informing participants as early as possible of any cancellation, clearly explaining the reasons and outlining the available options (refund, rescheduling, or alternative activity).

5. Limitation of Liability
Santiago Exchange shall not be held responsible for any additional expenses incurred by participants as a result of a cancellation, including but not limited to transportation, accommodation, meals, or other personal expenses not directly arranged by the company.
